Starting in Stiffkey, Norfolk in 1972 Stiffkey Period Lighting opened their first showroom and workshops in the pretty coastal village of Stiffkey in North Norfolk. It carries a large collection of various antique lamps from early Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau to Arts & Crafts and Art Deco. Stiffkey Period Lighting built up a reputation for quality and variety of stock with many high-profile editorials in leading interior design publications and inclusion in the on-line 'Get Real Guide' to the 101 best U.K. shops and 'The Guardian Interior Directory'.
Stiffkey Period Lighting has a huge showroom packed with stock which includes gas brackets and gasoliers converted to electric, chandeliers, hanging lamps, pendants, lanterns, rise-and-fall lamps, table lamps, wall brackets, and floor standards all finished to the highest standard. Stiffkey Period Lighting also have a fine collection of antique working oil lamps. Over the years Stiffkey Period Lighting has supplied lighting to film, television & theatre companies as well as stately homes, National Trust properties, prominent designers and contract work for hotels & restaurants world-wide, but mainly, of course, Stiffkey Period Lighting has provided quality period lighting to private buyers restoring period properties.
Stiffkey Period Lighting also offers a service for customers to have there own lamps restored and we will post or ship items world-wide, though we would recommend that if possible to pay us a personal visit and be dazzled!
